President Dirk Boogmans raised the glass on a fascinating and inspiring 2011, in the presence of Flemish Minister of Innovation Ingrid Lieten and many guests.
In his speech, he looked back on a few highlights of the first year of the VRWI. 2010 was indeed the starting year of the Flemish Council for Science and Innovation, the successor of the Flemish Science Policy Council.
But policy is looking forward, says the president, and 2011 has for the VRWI a lot to offer. He briefly explained the plans for the coming year.
