On June 4, the Flemish government adopted provisionally the draft of the Flemish Environmental Policy Plan 2011-2015. Given the strong interfaces that exist between this design and the policy fields of science and innovation, minister Ingrid considers it useful that the Flemish Council for Science and Innovation will formulate his recommendations on the draft.
The VRWI will formulate its opinion by September 23, 2010, and then send it to minister Lieten and her colleague Joke Schauvlieghe, responsible for environment.
